Trader Development Program (Singapore)

Responsibilities:
The Trader Development Program plays a key role in building trading talent within Shell Trading. It offers an exciting opportunity for commercially oriented candidates to develop the skills and gain relevant experience to build a trading career within Shell. We are seeking candidates to fill developmental roles in Oil, Gas and Power Trading.


The successful candidates will begin a challenging development program intended to last from 12 - 24 months. The length will vary depending on the aptitude and experience of the candidate. There will be a minimum of one rotation, before moving into a Junior Trading role. This rotation could be in Operations, or as a Trading Analyst.


Requirements:

You must possess at least a Bachelor's degree of any discipline and have minimum 3 years of working experience in the Trading environment (physical, paper, commodities, etc) or related commercial exposure. Other experiences including risk management, commercial negotiation and market analysis are an added advantage. In this role you must demonstrate commercial competency are both performance oriented and self-motivated. You must also be numerate coupled with the ability to assimilate information quickly.
