Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Maintenance & Strategy Planning Lead within the Maintenance Engineering (ME) Department, you will be a part of the ME Strategy & Business Improvement team. You will be responsible for managing and driving the SMEP ME Strategic business planning process, monitoring performance to the business plan promise and support the ME Functional Activity Plan (FAP) to Integrated Activity Plan (IAP) interface. In addition your role will include:
  • Accountable for analyzing/reporting overall ME business plan performance and variance/gap analysis with objective to support Maintenance Engineering Leadership Team (MELT) in setting/developing the ME functional improvement strategy, revised expectation setting and future Business Plan target setting;
  • Delivering the ME 5-years Business Plan;
  • Accountable for proper planning and delivery of the ME activity based Operational Expenditure (OPEX)/Minor Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) budget and hydrocarbon promises in support of the SMEP Asset Development Business Plan (BP/ARP);
  • Ensures ME strategic planning teams works seamlessly with the asset and extended local/central functional ME team;
  • Accountable for measuring performance against targets (Business Plan, ME OPEX activities/promises, Minor CAPEX) with objective to support MELT prioritization and intervention recognition to ensure achieving the overall ME Exploration & Production Asia Pacific business objectives;
  • Accountable to deliver the Life-of-Field OPEX budget forecast and ensure alignment to 5-years Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and year-on-year BP forecasts/promises;
  • Responsible to compile/report with related functional support organizations (i.e. finance, etc.).

Requirements:
  • An engineering degree or equivalent qualification together with circa 10+ years of Plant Maintenance experience supported by 5 years or more hands-on experience in Maintenance Planning/Scheduling;
  • In depth knowledge of Exploration & Production operations, process management and broad experience across Production Operations;
  • Strong relationship management skills. Teambuilding skills and an enthusiasm to work with diverse cultures and backgrounds. Ability to motivate staff and to build and contribute to effective leadership teams;
  • Proven track record in delivering results and driving performance management in a challenging external environment with many stakeholder issues;
  • Proven ability to engage with various levels of Management teams and senior stakeholder representatives;
  • Excellent understanding of Information Management/IT skills and New Ways of Working;
  • Working knowledge of Computurized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably in SAP-PM;
  • Good understanding of Business Plan process.
