Responsibilities:

The incumbent is accountable for the development of all projects within his area in the asset:

  • Determine the surface facilities development plans for the projects, including; co-ordinating the Engineering input of all disciplines; determine business cases and economics; HSE aspects; project management and execution; co-ordinating the Petroleum Engineering, Operations and Maintenance input; stakeholder, risk and uncertainty management;
  • Plan for the medium and long-term capacity requirements of the integrated oil and gas production facilities;
  • Reduce Opex and/or operational complexity by developing strategies and plans for rationalisation of facilities and infrastructure;
  • Implement innovative, cost saving technology and maximise their economic benefits to the shareholders;
  • Contribute in the area’s of planning, cost and technical matters during meetings with Partners, the Petroleum Unit and other Government Departments;
  • To take an active role in mentoring / coaching of local graduates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering or Science;
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in design, materials or corrosion engineering, maintenance, or integrity assurance in oil and gas industry;
  • Experience in Front-End Engineering and Design including Concept Select studies, Basis of Design, economics, project execution strategy, HSE management.
