An exciting opportunity to see the world as part of Total's Exploration and Production (E&P) team has arisen for senior engineers with strong experience and expertise in the required discipline. Our E&P team is active in 42 countries across the globe and current opportunities offer attractive, long-term contracts in various international locations on a family or rotational basis.
1. Senior Inspection Engineer (M/F)Requirement:
- As a Senior Inspection Engineer you will have the opportunity to make significant contributions by applying your expertise in projects as well as global field operations.
- This role will enable you to define policies whilst being able to guarantee high standards and managing with integrity.
- Your contributions will be wide spread while your services will include providing operational and methodological assistance to projects and field operations.
- You will be responsible for managing plant integrity and should also be able to inspire this in others.
- This varied role will also require considerable input during technical audits.
Skills:
- Will hold an MSc postgraduate qualification in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent.
- May have experience of LNG plants, deep offshore installations or heavy oil mining developments although this is not essential.
- Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues, along with the ability to encourage conscientiousness in others where health and safety is concerned.
- Will be fluent in both spoken and written English
Experience:
- Will have a substantial level of experience of working in the oil and gas industry, preferably within Exploration and Production.
- Will be familiar and experienced in RBI methodology and NDT
- Will have supervised a team of site inspectors and/or material/corrosion engineers.
2. Senior Maintenance Engineers (M/F)
- As a Senior Maintenance Engineer you will contribute your expertise to projects and fields operations by defining policies and guaranteeing excellent standards in maintenance management.
- An important part of your role will be to provide operational and methodological assistance to projects and field operations.
- You will be responsible for managing plant integrity and should also be able to inspire this in others.
- This varied role will also require considerable input during technical audits.
Skills:
- Will hold an MSc postgraduate qualification in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent.
- May have experience of LNG plants, deep offshore installations or heavy oil mining developments although this is not essential.
- Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues, along with the ability to encourage conscientiousness in others where health and safety is concerned.
- Will be keen to apply their supervision skills to their team of site inspectors and/or material/corrosion engineers.

3. Senior Safety Engineer (M/F)
- As a Senior Safety engineer you will have responsibility for ensuring all company requirements, safety specifications and guidelines are stated in operations or development projects' Scope of Requirements (SOR).
- You will be responsible for guaranteeing that relevant company and international standards are at all times adhered to. This includes during development projects as well as operations.
- You will oversee, review, and where applicable, approve contractor safety engineering related documents.
- You will lead in a range of safety reviews, as a key part of the role.
Skills:
- Will be a Chartered Engineer ideally in the fields of chemical, mechanical or petroleum engineering with a proven track record of utstanding performance in safety engineering within the oil and gas industry (upstream or downstream).
- You should be able to demonstrate a depth of experience in relevant roles.
- Will possess a thorough understanding of safety engineering techniques (qualitative and quantitative methods, HAZID, HAZDOP and QRA), fire fighting and gas design philosophy, ideally gained through large scale work on multinational projects.
- Will have substantial knowledge of loss prevention standards and procedures.
- Will have a firm grasp of International safety legislation, codes and standards that they can practically apply.
- Will be fluent in both spoken and written English
Experience:
- You should have a proven track record of outstanding performance in safety engineering within the oil and gas industry (upstream or downstream)
- You should possess a thorough understanding of safety engineering techniques (qualitative and quantitative methods, HAZID, HAZDOP and QRA), fire fighting and gas design philosophy, ideally gained through large scale work on multinational projects.
