Shell Chemicals Seraya is one of many plants that supports the Shell Chemicals business in the manufacturing and production of the range of petrochemicals that Shell currently provides in the industry. We have nearly 70 Shell Chemicals companies operating around the world, making and supplying a range of petrolchemicals which are then further processed by their industrial customers.
Responsibilities:
- To co-ordinate inter-disciplinary works carried out in the central workshops as well as in Singapore-based workshops;
- To plan and supervise Electrical/Instrument (E/I) activities done in the E/I workshop with the support of the Rotating Equipment support team and Mechanical Workshop Engineer;
- To efficiently manage spare parts for repairs of E/I items in the workshop;
- To supervise and appraise work undertaken by Singapore-based E/I workshops;
- To supervise the air-conditioning maintenance activities and projects by the air-conditioning contractor.
Requirements:- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-8 years of experience is required;
- Able to manage the services undertaken by E/I contractors for work carried out in the central workshop as well as work/services undertaken by Singapore-based workshops;
- Experience in managing activities of the Air-conditioning Section;
- Able to provide E/I technical support to Plant Engineers;
- Experience in ensuring/supporting and maintaining the efficiency and effective operation of the workshop;
- A remuneration package based on the conditions in the country of employment will be offered for this position.
