The Exploration & Production business began in Asia Pacific over a century ago, back in the 1890s, when the first wells were drilled by Shell in Sumatra and Borneo. Recent discoveries in Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam provide an aggressive expansion to our portfolio in the region.
Shell Exploration & Production Asia Pacific operates in seven countries - Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, China, Philippines, New Zealand, Australia and Singapore.
We currently have positions available in Miri, Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll be responsible working effectively within the project teams, liaising with team leaders, contracts and procurement executives, as well as contractors to create and maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date project schedule and cost forecast, allowing appropriate project controls and management;
- You may also provide cost and planning support for new and ongoing offshore development projects, which will involve developing schedules, resource and execution plans at the field development stage and subsequent refinements to provide basis for investment decisions.
Requirements:
- You must possess at least a bachelor's degree, and have at least 7 years of work experience in a related field, in the oil and gas industry;
- Experience of working on major project executions, costing and planning tools/software;
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential for this position;
- Applicants must be willing to work in Miri, Sarawak.
