Both roles report to the Offshore New Developments Engineering Manager, and form part of the core team of lead discipline engineers. Primary Purpose To lead the development of offshore facilities design through concept, selection and front-end engineering. You will focus on delivering safe and practical solutions with long-term operability. With external consultancies providing the detailed engineering, you will provide overall stewardship, setting the direction and performing cost benefit analysis to select the most appropriate option. You will also liaise with operations to develop operational systems and procedures. For non-operated ventures you will conduct due diligence work. Lead Process Engineer You will have significant experience in concept and FEED of offshore facilities, as well as a practical understanding of the criticality of decisions relating to layout considerations and flow assurance issues. Field-based experience, in commissioning or operational support, is desirable but not essential. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering is essential. Lead Mechanical Engineer You will have significant experience in concept and FEED relating to offshore facilities or petroleum refineries, as well as a practical understanding of rotating equipment. Field-based experience in maintenance and reliability is desirable but not essential. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering is essential.
